nno-train was founded in 1998 as a diagnostics company in Frankfurt-Main with the aim of developing innovative diagnostic products and selling them with optimal customer training and high service standards. Inno-train was the first supplier worldwide to produce and sell molecular-biological IVD test systems for blood group diagnostics. The rapid expansion of the company made it necessary to move to the current company headquarters in Kronberg at the beginning of 2000 (HRB 5256, district court of Königstein/Taunus).
inno-train diagnostics GmbH is a provider of in-vitro diagnostics in the field of transfusion medicine and immunohaematology. The majority of the product portfolio was and is produced by inno-train itself. The products for HLA and blood group diagnostics that are essential for the success of the company are in-house developments.
As a supplier and producer of diagnostics, inno-train has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485 for the design, manufacture and sale of in-vitro diagnostics since September 2003.

Human Platelet Antigen (HPA) are glycoproteins expressed on the thrombocyte membrane. Antibodies against the Human Platelet Antigens can cause immune reactions in the recipient's blood leading to the lysis of the transfused thrombocytes.
